A	Marfa	Private	30-17-30		104-00-18		4680	asphalt	1	9000	In the GoogelEarth picture c.2002, the runway is 9000 ft long.  In the 1996 photo, you can tell work is underway to extended the runway on the south end.  Who uses this?  I visited this area late 2/06 and found it was operational and associated with a McGuire Ranch on the SE side of Marfa.  I witnessed a Kingair type aircraft landing and taking off.  Why so long a runway is still unusual.
