South of Waxahachie; just south of the RR tracks; Bell Branch Lake and clubhouse to east.  Where this field was located is a big guess!  HOWEVER, having said that, it might have been located to Bell Ranch (see below).  There is an unidentified field on the 1932 Dallas Sectional in that general area.  That could have been this field.  If correct, then it was at the same location as Bell Ranch.  Problem is in the description.  Is the 12 miles south of Italy or Waxachie?  That is the question.

Whi Mts WAC407 1951 Itasca Community (1st location)   C Itasca Civil 32-10-30 32.175 97-07-30 97.125 820 Turf 2 1,600 This is a bit tricky - using charts, there appears to have been two Itasca airports.  The first, located about 1 to 2 miles to the NE of town.  The second, was more like about 4-5 miles to the NE.  Where the first location was is where IH35W is now so that may have caused the airport to be moved further out - OR - all of this is a chart error.  The directories may lead you to belive that there was only one and the difference was chart error.  I believe there were two airports and have listed as such.
