This
is a poorly understood airfield. Even
the USAF is unsure where it was located.
No charts show it. Only by
reference that it was approximately 17 miles SW of Buckeye. This should not be confused with the Luke
No 8 that was located between Gila Bend and Ajo. I personnally don't think this field ever
existed as described. There may have
been a dirt/turf field used for a short time in support of Luke. Still a stretch. |

This
is the only entry I have found. There
is no evidence of hard runways at this location and does not concided to the
"17 miles SW" either (14 miles SW).
I still feel this airfield never existed for training. Probably was planned for but not carry
forward and the Government disposed of the property in July 1944. |

5.25 miles SSW. One, possibly two
runways? The "runway" is on
a mesa limited by the edge of the mesa.
The runway is generally on a E/W orientation with a bit of a tilt to
NE/SW. The second is a more iffy
runway and is about 3000+ feet long, narrow on a general N/S orientation. |

From

is an error. There are no roads or
